I am understanding that I have to "work" for a good deck, but it's really frustrating, that every match that I play till I got all cards I needed, just a coin flip who wins.Īm I something missing or is Pokemon Trading Card Game that much frustrating the first time of playing? There must be an opportunity for new players to build a good standard deck which is constistent and has a chance against all this perfect GX/EX-Decks from other players. I am still missing many many good cards to build my own deck to control the risk of bad hands. So the outcome of coins/booster is, because of the extreme unreliant wins of theme deck battles, really bad. Even close wins or losses are just "who attacks next, wins". I played hundreds of games and I can say there were really no game that I lost because the opponent was better. Most battles I lost are just because of bad hands which are impossible to win (80%) or good/normal hands where the following cards are bad (20%), so it's impossible to win, too. Another time I got cosmog and then nothing just psycho or fire energy. In one game I got a perfect hand, but get no energy to attack. So I've bought all theme decks from sun and moon and those are not bad (luminous frost and that with decidoue is really good).īut nearly every match is just luck. The only real opportunity to get cards at the beginning of the "online career" is to play theme deck versus or the trainer challenge (bad outcome for the time to spend.). My problem is, that those theme deck battles are nearly 100% luck. The GameShark code 0101D3CA will cause the game to pause/unpause whenever the Select button is pressed (music will continue playing though).I am new to the online game and played years ago the game boy game from Pokemon TCG Pressing Start tests the "You got the X Card!" popup, but you still need to manually give yourself that card. There are 62 counters to change with most variables ranging from 0-255 but some are lower, as low as 0-1.īy far the most useful feature of this menu, you can choose any card and specify how many you own. No.0 change your gender (but not your sprite however), and starting from #4, each flag represents whether you've obtained a certain coin. You get 10 more of every card, including energy cards. This would trigger the Great Master Cup in the Pokémon Dome, which is normally accessible after winning 10 times in a row in Link Battles. It causes ONLY the Sealed Fortresses to open. It will reset both Challenge Machines data and the first time you select either of them, it will give you a message saying that the data is broken and to try to get a new score. Note the game will freeze on the map (the first time) if you have mail in your box. This doesn't literally deliver all your mail, rather it will send 16 mail to your mailbox (leave to the map and back to receive the first 8, delete them out and repeat to get the other 8). If used on the TCG island and you go to the map you will be at Mason's Laboratory, and on the GR island you will go to the GR island Airport. If used on the TCG island and you go to the map you will be at the TCG island Airport, and on the GR island you will go to the GR Psychic Stronghold. You can change back and move again, but you may not be able to talk to anyone or leave the room. With the Game Genie code provided this will not work properly because, while your battle portrait changes and the Name Entry menu will default to the female/male name, you will become frozen in place with the male/female sprite, and saving after doing this may kill your file, and even if it doesn't, you will still be stuck. This sort of works if called from the map screen, but the menu is generally more glitchy from there. The Sealed Fortresses remains locked though. Select this and you've defeated everyone. Some items in this menu work fine, others, not so much. Some options work, some sort of work, and some are just really confusing to use. Use the codes 116-0BB-F7A + A86-0CB-91C + 496-0DB-E63 + C96-0EB-5D5 for the Scenario menu to replace "status" in the regular menu. That's right, there are no less than three separate debug menus in this game.
